To start, not all laser hair removal machines are created equally. What is safe for lighter skin types is not for darker skin types. Q. What are the most popular services at Glow Med Spa?
A: While offering many services, our most popular for summer are Vitamin IV Therapy and Vampire Facials. Vitamin IV therapy helps to hydrate and replenish the cells, which is great since it gets hot during the summer time. The Vampire Facial because tanning doesn’t affect treatment, which will leave you with glowing skin, smaller pores, no stretch marks, helps with cellulite, acne scarring and collagen production.
Q. Why is laser hair removal better than shaving or waxing?
A: Shaving will remove the shaft of hair and waxing removes the follicles, but leaves the stem cells of the hair in the skin so the hair can regenerate the cell. When you do laser hair removal its permanent because it removes even the stem cell follicle.
Q. How long does laser hair removal last?
A: Forever, unless it is a certain area that is very hormonal (i.e. your chin due to pregnancy).
Q. What are some additional benefits and/or some side effects of laser hair removal?
A: Reduces the hair, hyper-pigmentation from the sweating in that area, ingrown hairs and cysts. Folliculitis.
